DK Studios
We are excited to offer classes in our beautiful new Dance Kaleidoscope Studios at the Circle City Industrial Complex, 1125 E. Brookside Ave., Suite D5 (near the Bottleworks District on Mass Ave.). And the best news of all? There is ample free parking in a large lot on the other side of Brookside Ave. Learn more about the DK Studios and see a map.

Safety Plans
For 2020-21, we have new health safety measures in place to help combat the spread Covid-19. We thoughtfully put these plans together over many months with the help of a safety expert so we can keep everyone healthy and safe. All teachers, staff, and students will be required to wear masks inside the building. Please read the three separate Safety Plans - this is important for everyone. 

All tuition fees are due monthly:    30 min. classes/$44 per month        45 min. /$49 per month       60 min./$54 per month       75 min./$59 per month      
Taking both Ballet 1 classes/$75 per month    •       Taking both Ballet 2 classes/$90 per month

Families with children or child taking more than one class will receive the following discounts:
2 classes: 10% off
3 classes: 15% off
4 or more classes: 20% off

All Zoom classes receive a 10% discount.

Try it!
Introductory thirty-minute creative movement class for boys & girls ages 3-5. Students are introduced to general dance vocabulary while exploring movement and music in a fun, creative way. Dancers in this class will improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age-appropriate movement and exercises. 

Monday: 4:30-5:00pm, taught by Manuel Valdes

The foundation of all dance forms, this beautiful and demanding technique is a necessity for all young, aspiring dancers. Ballet classes are offered for beginning through advanced level dancers.

Beginning Ballet C: Suggested Ages 8+  Saturday: 9:45-10:30am, taught by Manuel Valdes
Ballet 1 (by invitation only): Monday: 5:45-6:45pm, taught by Paige Robinson
Ballet 1 (by invitation only): Tuesday: 5:15-6:15pm, taught by Liberty Harris
Ballet 2 (by invitation only): Tuesday: 6:20-7:35pm, taught by Liberty Harris
Ballet 2 (by invitation only): Wednesday: 6:05-7:20pm, taught by Aleksa Coffey
Adult Ballet: Tuesday: 6:30-8:00pm $20/session or 4 Class Card at $70 ($17.50/session)

Combines many styles and techniques from ethnic and contemporary dance to ballet. Our jazz classes teach basic jazz dance technique, terminology and style with an emphasis on proper technique, alignment and movement quality. Set to jazz, R&B, ethnic and pop music, jazz classes are a great workout and fun for all ages.

Jazz 1 (by invitation only): Wednesday: 4:30-5:15pm, taught by Aleksa Coffey
Jazz 2 (by invitation only): Wednesday: 7:25-8:10pm, taught by Aleksa Coffey

Classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun.

Beginning Tap: Tuesday: 5:05-5:35pm, taught by Jillian Godwin
Tap 1 (by invitation only): Tuesday: 5:40-6:25pm, taught by Jillian Godwin

Hip Hop
Hip Hop instills rhythm and helps young dancers develop muscle memory. This style is upbeat and great for girls and boys who like to move and are not yet excited about the traditional ballet, jazz or tap classes.               

Suggested Ages: 8+
Monday: 5:05-5:35, taught by Manuel Valdes - This class is now full
Saturday: 9-9:45am, taught by Manuel Valdes

(at least 1 year of previous ballet training suggested)
Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz, with expressive motions that tell a story. Students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotion through movement. 

Suggested Ages: 8-14 
Wednesday: 5:25-5:55pm, taught by Aleksa Coffey

Move Your Body-Conditioning
A class that will get your heart rate up and work on coordination, stretching, and musicality. No previous dance experience required; this is more dance party than technique class. You’ll get moving and stay moving the whole time, just bring your smiling face!

Suggested Ages: 8 through Adult
Monday: 6:50-7:30pm, taught by Paige Robinson

Beginning Graham Technique
(by invitation only)
Beginning Graham is geared toward advanced-level dancers. We will cover the basics of the Graham technique. Including floor work, standing exercises, across the floor and the three principals of Graham, contraction and release, the spiral of the body and shifting the weight through space.

Sunday: 12:00-2:00pm, taught by Liberty Harris and other DK company members
