Holly Harkins headshot webHolly Harkins is from Rustburg, Virginia, and began her dance training under Keith Lee at Dance Theatre of Lynchburg. Holly graduated high school from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2017, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the George Mason University School of Dance with a BFA in 2021. She has trained at the American Dance Festival, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, SpringboardX, The Ailey School, The Taylor School, Company E, the Doug Varone & Dancers Intensive, and the Gaga Intensive. Holly has had the opportunity to perform works by Micaela Taylor, Kyle Abraham, Rafael Bonachela, Ohad Naharin, and Hope Boykin. Holly is endlessly grateful for the people who have helped her along the way, and is excited to create her home here in Indianapolis. Holly joined Dance Kaleidoscope as an apprentice in 2021-22 and this is her 1st season as a company member.

JULIE RUSSEL 

Julie Russel, raised in Cedar, Michigan, grew up training at Dance Arts AcadeJulieR Yes 05my under the direction of Betsy Carr. Julie received her BFA in Dance Performance and BA in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Oklahoma. While at OU, Julie performed with Contemporary Dance Oklahoma and Oklahoma Festival Ballet. Julie had the pleasure to perform works by Merce Cunningham, Alejandro Cerrudo, Sonia Dawkins, Trey McIntyre, and Amy Hall Garner. Upon graduation Julie began dancing with the contemporary ballet company Verb Ballets where she performed works by Stephanie Martinez, Christopher Huggins, and Tommi-Waheed Eveans. She also taught various dance styles throughout the Northeast Ohio area. Julie continued her professional career with Wonderbound in Denver, Colorado where she performed works by Garrett Ammon and Sarah Tallman. Julie is excited to be dancing with Dance Kaleidoscope for the 2022-2023 season as a company member.

ADRIAN DOMINGUEZ

A native of Denver, CO, Adrian Dominguez is thrilled to be dancing his first season with DK. He recently danced two seasons for Gregory Hancock Dance Theater. Adrian graduated from Anderson University with a B.F.A in Dance Performance. While studying at Anderson, Adrian has worked with guest artists Gregory Hancock, Earl Mosley, Nicole Springer, Eddy Ocampo and Ian Poulis. Adrian has had the pleasure of performing works by Sidra Bell, Christal Brown, Alexander Diaz, Vincent Hardy, Earl MAdrianosley, Matthew Rushing and Scott Willits at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts at Bryant Park, and Hofstra University in New York City. Adrian has been part of many productions including Anthony and Cleopatra, Exodus, The Black Dahlia, There’s No Place Like Home, Under the Big Top, LIVE, The Violin Under the Bed, The Casket Girls, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, A Night in India (Gregory Hancock Dance Theater), Sealed (Zion Dance Project), And The World Goes Around, Fall and Spring into Dance, Meanwhile at Cinderella’s Opera (Anderson University).

 APPRENTICE

VIVIEN MICKELS
Vivien Mickels hails from Noblesville, IN. She received her BA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Hope College, where she studied modern dance, ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop. During her undergraduate studies, she has been in works by notable choreographers such as Matthew Farmer, Crystal Frasier, Sharon Wong, Linda Graham, William CVM Yes 02rowley, and Nicole Flinn. Vivien has been a member of both H2 Dance Company and Strike Time Dance Theater. Prior to Hope College, Vivien trained at En Pointe Indiana Ballet with teachers such as Robert Moore, Polyana Ribiero, and Jonathan Guise. The 2022-23 season is Vivien’s first with Dance Kaleidoscope.

 

 

 

TRAINEE

DANIELLA SIBLEY

Daniella Sibley is from Las Vegas, Nevada and began her training under Kaydee Francis and Jami Artiga at the Dance Zone. Daniella graduated high school as a dance major from the Las Vegas Academy for the Performing Arts. She continued her training by attending multiple summer intensive programs with Cincinnati Ballet. Daniella is currently attending Butler University with a major in biology and minors in dance, education, neuroscience, and diverse learning. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2023. Daniella joined Dance Kaleidoscope for her first year as a trainee in the 2022-2023 season.
