Your Gift Counts

Annual Campaign
The truth is, DK is able to present new works featuring collaborations with leading creators and organizations because, year after year, you support this work. You know that behind the captivating dancers on stage, there’s a whole team of people working to produce these magical moments.

This is why we are asking you to donate in support of the annual fund. When you give, you make it possible for Dance Kaleidoscope to thrive as a world-class company right here in Indianapolis.

Thank you!

Our Gift To You
FROM | INTO | TOWARDS is a 3-part video project created by DK company dancer Manuel Valdes.

Manuel said that this project conveys the idea of what he’s been running from and into this past year, and what he’s running towards for the new year. Creating these videos helped him answer some personal questions and learn how to process.

In three sections, you’ll see a different story or idea that is distinct but related. Manuel believes the holidays are a time of reflection and for sharing, so he has used the language he knows best — dance.

We invite you to come on this 3-part journey with Manuel. Each video will be released on this page:

November 28 - FROM (part one)
December 12 - INTO (part two)
December 26 - TOWARDS (part three)

More Than a Building
Steps for the Future is the final push to help DK get over the finish line, funding the final projects at the Dance Kaleidoscope Studios.

For the first time in 49 years, Indiana’s longest-running professional dance company has an artistic home. Just prior to the pandemic, DK’s board and former executive director Jan Virgin made a bold decision to build a new studio and begin a capital campaign. Today we celebrate that success and ask you to help us reach the $2 million goal. With your gift or pledge, the 32% remaining is just steps away. More than a building, this is a place for dance, for arts education, and for the community.
