Love Songs explores the travails of the heart as rotating pairs of lovers dance to the classic songs of Richard Rogers, George Gershwin, Lennon & McCartney and Frank Loesser with live music performed by tenor Steven Stolen. Love Letter, choreographed by Cynthia Pratt, reflects the chronology of a relationship, plus a romantic new work by Nicholas Owens of Kenyettà Dance Company.

A World Premiere choreographed by David Hochoy and set to the dramatic Russian music of Mussorgsky. This work, his masterpiece, was inspired by a collection of artwork by close friend Victor Hartmann in1875. The program also features a revival of Hochoy’s "Writing on the Great Wall."
