We are about three minutes away from the ending, so we were able to show most of the piece.  The dancers did an incredible job and spectator reactions were enthusiastic and emotional.  It is an extremely intense and dramatic work that is filled with tension as well as beauty, power and raw savagery and the combination of the music and movement wells up in you an emotional catharsis that is quite overwhelming!

On Tuesday the dancers went to Vincennes to do a school show and we have been doing runthrus of Rhapsody in Blue which we are performing at the Spring to Dance Festival in St. Louis on Thursday evening.  Rhapsody is looking very good and should be an excellent showcase for the company. We did a runthru in costume on Friday so that the dancers could rehearse the quick costume changes.
