It was very educational for all of us to see it and understand the history of the piece and the great deal of research that went into its restoration.  I do believe that having a sense of the work's history will enhance the perception of those audience members who eventually see our version when it comes to the stage.

We also did two runthrus of Rhapsody in Blue.  It is coming along nicely and should be in really good shape by the time we get to perform it in St Louis.  What I love most is that we have the time to coach small and subtle moments (along with the grand ones) and that they all go together to make a rich, complex and satisfying experience for the audience.
