The highlight of the week was the donor appreciation event at the IRT Cabaret on Wednesday evening where the dancers told stories of how they came to be in Indianapolis and part of Dance Kaleidoscope.  I also asked them to share a "secret" that no one else knew about them.  This was a fun way to get to know each of them a little better.

For the past two weeks we have been busy rehearsing for the next concert Love is... We have two guest choreographers, Cynthia Pratt and Nick Owens, so the rehearsal slots have to be shared equally between them and myself.  I am contributing a revival of Love Songs and the Indiana premiere of a male-male duet called For Jose which I created in 2001 in memory of my dear friend Jose Aznarez who had passed away the preceding Fall due to complications from Aids.
